My husband and I are separated, I am thinking of going bankrupt, my name is on our 5th wheel that we bought last year and my husband is living out of the 5th wheel at an rv park, will me going bankrupt make him lose the trailer, thank you

Is there any equity in the mobile home? If so, it would be considered as a non-exempt asset in your bankruptcy, in which case, your ex-husband may be able to make arrangements with the Trustee to repurchase your interest from the estate. If there is no equity in the mobile home, this would be a non-issue. Also, is the mobile home part of any formal separation agreement?
