Question:

If I know someone in bankruptcy who is hiding their income from the trustee, should I inform them? And if so, what will happen?

Answer:

If this person is not reporting their income to the Trustee, they are guilty of an Offence under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and, if convicted could be fined or subject to another penalty. You should report this to the Trustee.
