Question:

When Christmas gifts are purchased on credit cards. Can you be made to ask for them back, if in the future you declare bankruptcy?

Answer:

You would not be made to ask for the gifts back; however, if you purchase items on credit, other than in the ordinary course, on the eve of bankruptcy, it will likely become an issue when you are applying to be discharged.
