Professional Highlights
Since completing the Business Administration-Finance program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton in 1991, Freida gained administrative experience and insight while working in a law firm and a mergers & acquisitions firm. She started her insolvency career 13 years ago primarily assisting individuals in resolving their financial difficulties and has experience in all aspects of personal bankruptcies and proposals. Prior to joining Alger & Associates Inc. in 2004, Freida was a Manager in the Business Recovery practice of one of the Big 4 accounting firms and has assisted in corporate recovery and restructuring including receiverships, bankruptcies, monitorships and proposals under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
As a Chartered Insolvency & Restructuring Professional and licensed Trustee, Freida assists in running the Edmonton personal insolvency practice and actively participates in speaking engagements on various insolvency topics to both public and industry audiences.
